In most every medical field you can find some sort of nurse. The nursing field offers such a large variety of nursing jobs. When choosing a nursing job one should consider a field that suits ones best, Oncology, labor and delivery, cardiology, family practice, critical care and general medicine are just a few fields that nurses can work in.

Growing faster then average, the nursing industry offers several options, while looking for a nursing job. Nursing degrees range in a large variety in the nursing field, from Associate degrees, LPN to Associate, LPN/LVN, RN, RN to BSN, bachelors, part time degrees, Doctorate, Nursing Certificates, Nurse practioners, CNS Programs, Administrative and many others. Nursing CEU courses have been designed and created in improving and assisting in patient care and the quality of their life.

Licensed practical nurses (LPN), cares for injured, the sick and disabled patients, providing bedside care, taking vital signs, preparing and giving injections, enemas, monitor catheters, apply dressings, treat bedsores and massages.

In working to promote health, helping patients cope with illness and preventing disease, Registered nurses (RNs) also provide patient care. While observing and assessing, RNs record the symptoms, reactions and progress in the patient’s health. Registered nurses work in comfortable conditions and receive a good salary and benefits; they are one of the most demanding nurse jobs in the field.

Continuing to rapidly grow home health care is amongst the most popular nursing positions. While offering nurse’s flexibility to the job, many nurses are choose to work in this line of field.

Clinical Nursing

Clinical Nursing (CNS) is an advanced nursing practice specialty. These specialists focus in various health care settings and specialties such as; neonatology, cardiac, obstetrics, gynecology, mental health, oncology and neurology.

Forensic Nursing

Forensic Nursing is an ever evolving specialty of nursing. Providing direct services to nursing, medical and law related agencies which encompasses healthcare to victims and collecting evidence.

LPN

Licensed practical nurses (LPN), cares for the injured the sick and the disabled, providing bedside care, taking vital signs, preparing and giving injections, enemas, monitor catheters, apply dressings, treat bedsores and massages.

Nurse Aid

A nurse’s aid or Certified nurses assistant (CNA) works under the supervision of a registered nurse. Trained for a variety of settings, like adult day cares, nursing homes and hospitals, CNA is challenging but if interacting closely with patients on a personal level is what you like then this is the field for you.

NURSE ANESTHETIST

Making sure that the patient is unconscious through out the patient’s procedure whether it is surgical, obstetrical and or other medical procedures, and is also responding well to the medications that are given, is done by a Nurse Anesthetist.

NURSING DEGREES

Travel Nurse

NURSE PRACTITONER

Nurse Practioners focuses primarily on disease prevention, counseling, patient education and health maintenance. A Nurse Practioner is a registered nurse, able to prescribe medicines and must have advanced academic and clinical illness.

Pediatric Nurse

The care professionals whom provide primary care to children, typically ranging from infants to young adults are looked upon by Pediatric nurses or (PNP) Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
